Does Nya turn into the ocean?
Nya transforms into a water dragon and defeats Wojira by destroying the Wave Amulet. Having merged with the endless sea, however, Nya can no longer remain on land and feels the ocean calling to her. After a tearful goodbye, she leaves the Ninja and returns to the ocean.
At the end of Season 5, she unlocked the Elemental Power of Water, allowing her to perform Hydrokinesis.
In Episode 179, Nya has a short battle with Kalmaar and Wojira. Later, she decides to sacrifice her life in order to save Jay, who inhaled too much seawater. This causes Nya to merge with the Endless Sea but costing her humanity.
Nya reawakens her elemental powers to save herself and Jay, and they set out to find help.
One year after merging with the sea, Nya regained her memories after talking with Nyad, and sought to rejoin the ninja. The ninja broke Aspheera out of prison, and she agreed to drain Nya's elemental power of Water and separate her from the sea, returning Nya to her human form.
Shadows of War is the 16th season in Galvatream's Canon. Master Umbra serves as the main antagonist while the Shadow Army is the villainous faction. Lloyd and Nya are the focus characters.
In Season 5, Jay views his future reflection in the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master, which reveals that he and Nya will end up together sometime in the future.

Nya flashes back to in between Time Repeats Itself and Rebirth, to a time when Skylor was the only one defending Ninjago City, and the battles she had, leading up to Rebirth, and how she was possessed, saving Kai from a flood.
In the final act of the season, Nya is forced to become one with the sea in order to save everyone, losing her ability to remain on land with the other ninjas. While she may be gone for now, Andreasen hinted that her story is not finished yet.
In one episode Nya gives Jay a kiss on the cheek. The two embrace and kiss whilst openly expressing their love in the Season 6 finale.
Nya is an 11-year-old girl who walks eight hours to fetch water from the pond. She and her family live in South Sudan in 2008. Her family home is far from the nearest pond, where she walks twice a day to support her parents and younger sister, Akeer. She also has a little brother that her mom takes care of at home.
In Season 6, Nya chose Jay over Cole who accepted this with a smile but this doesn't cause a rift between them as they remain good friends. When Cole returned to being human, Nya was happy to see him back to normal and hugged him with the other ninja.

He helps coordinate the villagers' responsibilities for the well project and tells Nya that she will be able to go to the school the village can now build.
In the fifth season, titled Possession, events in the story show Lloyd being possessed by the spirit of an Elemental Master named Morro, with his body taking an evil form for the majority of the season.
Nya is Kai's younger sister. She was the only family he had when their parents disappeared when they were young. Because of this, Kai is overprotective of his sister as he wants to keep her safe from danger.
The packaging doesn't give any indication of this, but the dragon is actually Nya. (She first assumes her dragon form in the episode “The Turn of the Tide”.)
Nya has control over the Water and when she uses it in a form of a vortex (via her True Potential) it allows her to have control over the Water (rains, tidal waves, etc.). This power can also be used to summon sea creatures.
Wu is thousands of years old. He and his older brother's long lifespan is a result of them being the sons of the First Spinjitzu Master, who also lived for thousands of years before finally succumbing to his mortality. According to Mystake in "Two Lies, One Truth," this is due to their Oni blood.

Character design
Sons of Garmadon implemented a new phase for the ninjas' designs, which were now based on the designs of their movie counterparts in The Lego Ninjago Movie. The design change aimed to help new fans of the movie transition to the television series.

Water is a big factor for Salva and Nya. Salva needs water so he can make it through the desert and the rain forest. Nya needs the water because she has to walk a day's walk away and the water is normally dirty. In the story it says '“Her sickness came from the water.” the nurse explained.
Nya is a fictional character, although “she is representative of many of the children who live in the Sudan; everything that happened to Nya is true.”
